Week1
ODD

    Your usual week

Lectures and CSP are the same every week. Labs switch between odd and even weeks, so check the board above to know which one it is.

    The semester at a glance

Weeks are counted in teaching weeks only. The Christmas break does not count, so week 13 in January is odd. Tap a week to see it on the board.

    All your lab dates

Every lab is 16:00–18:00. Most labs end by Christmas, so January dates are marked as possible.

    What it all means

    α1 α2 α3 Lab groups
The year is split into three lab groups of about 20 students. Lectures are for everyone. CSP sessions and labs are by group.
    Odd and even weeks
Teaching weeks are numbered from week 1 (5 Oct). Week 1 is odd, week 2 is even, and so on. Some of your labs happen only in odd weeks, others only in even weeks.
    GBc Bio Phy Labs
General Biochemistry, Medical Biology and Medical Physics labs.
    CSP Clinical Skills and Practice
Introduction to Clinical Skills and Practice (MD1005), your hands-on course: the Greek healthcare system, taking a history, hand hygiene, vital signs, injections, and Basic Life Support with a defibrillator (BLS-AED). You have a 2-hour session with your group, plus a lecture for everyone on Friday. Your CSP instructor confirms which weeks the group sessions run.
    Amph. B′ Amphitheatre B′
The lecture hall for all theory classes. In Greek, the ′ mark turns a letter into a number, so B′ (“Beta”) means the second amphitheatre.
    A1 B2.1 Greek levels
Greek Language I runs at two levels. A1 is for beginners (Tuesday), B2.1 for students who already speak Greek well (Thursday). The placement test decides which one you join.
    ECTS Credits
European credits. 1 ECTS is about 28 hours of work, counting classes and your own study. Semester 1 adds up to 30 ECTS.
